Why was Rose Meadow Counseling created?

Rose Meadow Counseling was established in 2023 by Stephanie to help adults who are seeking individual therapy. Stephanie understands how difficult it can be to access therapy and she wanted to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions and needs. Why was Rose Meadow Counseling created?

In-person sessions are only offered on Tuesdays. We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer Telehealth services that allow you to connect to your session from the comfort of your own home.

What is the difference between therapy and counseling?

We use a HIPAA compliant platform for all virtual appointments through Therapy Notes. Clients can access their appointments, complete paperwork, make payments, and join sessions. Client Portal

What is the difference between therapy and counseling?

Oftentimes therapy and counseling are used interchangeably, as well as therapist and counselor or client and patient. Some therapists differ in licensure, education, and scope of practice.

Headway is an online billing platform that helps out with payments and insurance claims. You may be asked to create a Headway account depending on which insurance you carry.

Do you provide counseling for children and adolescents?

No. Rose Meadow Counseling offers counseling to adults only.

Can you provide me with counseling if I live outside Massachusetts?

No. We require all our clients to be living in the state of MA in order to receive services. We do not offer services for anyone living outside of state. You must physically be located in MA to receive services.

Do you offer emergency services or crisis care?

Can you provide me with counseling if I live outside Massachusetts?

No. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or any other medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
