About Me

What is your educational and professional background?

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Worcester State University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Assumption University. Before moving into private practice, I worked at a non-profit agency serving a small town. This experience allowed me to support clients facing a wide range of issues and deepen my understanding of various mental health diagnoses.

What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with adults who are navigating through a variety of issues that may include anxiety, depression, emotional distress, grief, and life transitions. I also offer a supportive space for those who want to integrate their faith and beliefs into the therapeutic process.

As a licensed therapist, my role is to provide counseling and therapeutic support for a range of issues. However, there are certain conditions and disorders that may fall outside the scope of my practice, and in these cases, I may refer you to a specialist or other healthcare provider with the appropriate expertise.

What is your therapeutic approach?

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when it's a partnership, so I work closely with clients to create a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What do you specialize in?

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a highly effective, evidence-based approach. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes that lead to lasting improvement in emotional well-being.

What can a client expect in their first session with you?

The first session is really a “getting to know you” conversation. We'll talk about what brought you into therapy, explore some of your background, and begin to identify the goals you'd like to work toward. It’s a chance for us to get a sense of what it’s like to work together and to see if we’re the right fit.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I’ve always known that I wanted to help others and becoming a therapist has been a meaningful way for me to do that. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where people feel truly comfortable expressing how they feel. Being able to walk alongside someone in their healing journey and help them feel seen, heard, and understood is incredibly fulfilling to me.

What makes your practice unique?

My practice is all about creating a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you don’t feel like you’re in a traditional therapy session. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease, like you’re in your own space. I understand that therapy can feel intimidating at first, so I work to keep things simple, approachable, and focused on what matters most to you.

What are your core values as a therapist?

My work is guided by empathy and compassion. I strive to truly understand and connect with each person’s experience. Respect is central to everything I do. I honor your story, your pace, and your individuality. And of course, confidentiality is foundational. I create a safe space where your privacy is always protected, so you can feel secure sharing openly.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of therapy, I’m just a regular person! I enjoy reading a mix of fantasy, romance, and mystery, and I have a passion for history and art. When I need to relax, I turn to comfort movies. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, my dog. Whether it’s going for walks, sharing a meal, or just relaxing together, these moments help me recharge and stay grounded.

Thanks for taking a moment to get to know me. I’m here to support you on your journey, whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re just looking for a new approach. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and all about what matters to you. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can work together.
